Six Prodigy Week drivers went undrafted in July 2024, but were saved by fan vote to enter the P3 Championship on the practice squad, giving them one more opportunity to chase their dreams. During each P3 race event, the Practice Squad competes on track in hopes to be called up by one of the six race teams, which would require the team to drop a rostered driver. But the clock is not on their side of the Practice Squad drivers. At each race event, they compete in a Knockout Race that sends one racer home. After three race events, three practice squad drivers remain.
